Forever Companion

Forever Companion brings Vexa into your game as a fully animated, context-aware companion designed to make leveling, questing, farming, dungeons, and everyday gameplay feel more alive.

Vexa does more than sit on your screen. She watches what is happening around you and reacts to your actual gameplay. She comments on combat, quests, leveling, loot, deaths, travel, dungeons, farming, jumping, AFK time, rare enemies, gear, bags, durability, and more. The goal is to make it feel like you have someone adventuring alongside you instead of another static UI element.

A Companion That Actually Pays Attention

Vexa changes what she talks about based on what you are doing.

If you're questing, she can react to your progress and completed objectives. If you're in a dungeon, she switches into dungeon-aware behavior and stops bothering you with irrelevant quest turn-in reminders. During combat she can react to dangerous situations, boss fights, low health, interrupts, procs, victories, deaths, and close calls.

She also recognizes smaller habits, such as repeatedly jumping, traveling for long periods, returning from AFK, mounting, swimming, farming, and other things you naturally do while playing.

Huge Conversation Library

Forever Companion includes a massive and constantly expanding dialogue library designed to keep Vexa from feeling repetitive.

Longer dialogue automatically continues across multiple speech bubbles instead of cutting off halfway through a thought.

Character Memory

Vexa remembers your characters and their history.

Forever Companion maintains per-character memory while also keeping shared information across your roster. As you level and move between characters, Vexa can remember previous sessions, character progress, milestones, and earlier conversations.

Character identity is tracked by character name and realm so leveling the same character does not accidentally create a completely new memory profile.

Dungeon Intelligence

When you enter a dungeon, Vexa automatically changes how she behaves.

Dungeon mode can:

• Recognize the current dungeon
• Track boss progress
• React to boss pulls and kills
• Comment on wipes and successful runs
• Suppress irrelevant world and quest reminders
• Watch for potentially useful loot
• Provide dungeon-focused commentary

The idea is simple: when you're inside a dungeon, Vexa should act like she knows you're in a dungeon.

Combat Calls

Forever Companion can alert you when important combat abilities become available.

Combat Calls can use:

• On-screen proc alerts
• Spell icons
• Custom HD artwork
• Sound effects
• Custom Vexa voice clips
• Adjustable scale
• Adjustable position
• Adjustable duration
• Drag-and-drop alert placement

The addon attempts to detect abilities through the actual client rather than assuming every retail ability exists.

Custom voice packs can be added using .ogg files, allowing Vexa to shout things like:

“OVERPOWER!”
“RIPOSTE!”
“INTERRUPT!”
“You’re low!”
“Boss down!”

Custom voice clips play through WoW's sound system and respect in-game sound settings.

Gold Farming and Auctionator Integration

Forever Companion includes optional gold-farming tools and Auctionator support.

Vexa can help track:

• Gold earned
• Gold per hour
• Loot value
• Vendor value
• Auctionator market values
• Farming session history
• High-value drops
• Top items from a farming session

This allows Vexa to comment on whether a farming session is actually worth your time instead of simply counting how much gold you picked up.

Vocabulary and Learning

Vexa can also keep you entertained while you grind.

Forever Companion includes a built-in learning system with hundreds of vocabulary entries, trivia topics, riddles, definitions, word roots, history facts, science facts, geography, mythology, literature, philosophy, technology, nature, animals, and more.

You can ask her for a random word, definition, quiz, riddle, quote, fact, or question whenever you want.

Zone-Specific Personality

Vexa does not greet every zone the same way.

Major WoW zones have custom arrival dialogue, with different lines for first visits and return visits. She remembers recent zone introductions to reduce repetition and can generate fallback dialogue for custom or unfamiliar WoW Forever zones.

Logging in also uses your current character, class, level, and location to create more varied greetings.

Designed for WoW Forever

Forever Companion has been developed specifically around the behavior and APIs available on WoW Forever, including compatibility work for client differences, secret-value restrictions, dungeon APIs, proc detection, action-bar behavior, and addon integrations.

The addon does not require an external AI subscription or paid API service for its core functionality. Vexa runs locally using the addon's context, memory, dialogue, and behavior systems.
