ForeverActionBarTweaks extends World of Warcraft: Forever's native Edit Mode action bar controls, allowing action bars to use 1 to 12 buttons instead of being limited by Blizzard's default minimum.
The addon keeps Blizzard's original action bars and does not replace them with custom bars or buttons.
Features
- Set supported native action bars from 1 to 12 buttons
- Supports button counts below Blizzard's default minimum
- Preserves Blizzard's native action bar visuals
- Preserves empty button slot frames
- Keeps native keybindings and action slots
- Works directly with Blizzard Edit Mode
- Remembers low button counts across reloads
- Keeps bar position and layout settings
- No custom replacement action bars
- No custom action button frames
The addon is designed specifically for World of Warcraft: Forever and aims to keep the default Blizzard UI behavior while giving players more control over action bar size.
Usage
- Enter Edit Mode.
- Select an Action Bar.
- Adjust # of Icons from 1 to 12.
- Save your Edit Mode layout.
ForeverActionBarTweaks will remember supported values below Blizzard's normal minimum after a reload.
Important
This addon modifies only the action bar configuration behavior required to support smaller bar sizes. It does not change spells, abilities, action slots, keybindings, or combat functionality.
Known limitation — addon description
Due to a client limitation, dragging spells onto MultiBar5 or rearranging its buttons during combat may trigger “Interface action failed because of an AddOn.” If this happens, wait until combat ends before moving buttons.
This only affects button editing during combat. The bar remains visible, and abilities, keybindings, macros, and cooldowns continue to work normally.
