A gold ledger for World of Warcraft: Forever.

ForeverGold tracks your gold the way a personal-finance app tracks money: where every gold came from, where it went, and the real profit on your own Auction House trades. Every figure is coin you actually gained or spent. Nothing is guessed or valued at market price.

Features

Overview. Gold on hand, today's and 7-day net, a gold goal, and your top income and expense sources at a glance.
Income & Spending. Every gold change with its source (looting, vendors, Auction House, mail, repairs, quests, trades, flight paths, training and more), plus the zone and character. You get earned, spent and net per source and per zone, for one character or your whole account, over any time range, with a chart of your gold over time.
Farming & Dungeons. Start a farm and see gold per hour and per zone. Dungeon runs are tracked on their own. The items you loot are counted and shown with their potential value, kept apart from the gold you actually have.
Enemies. How much coin each enemy type drops: loots, total and average. The enemy's tooltip shows its average coin drop.
Vendor. What you sold to and bought from merchants, item by item.
Auction House profit. Realized profit on items you actually bought and sold, with cost basis, AH fees, ROI and posting sell-through. Item tooltips show Your profit; hold Shift for details.
Mini view and minimap button. The numbers you choose, always one glance away.

Optional: Auctionator

ForeverGold never scans or searches the Auction House, so on its own it values the items you loot only at the vendor price and at your own last AH sale of that item. Install Auctionator and ForeverGold also reads its last scanned AH prices (read-only: it never scans, searches or buys through it) to show:

an AH ~ estimate of the items you looted in a farm run or dungeon run;
the potential gold per hour of a farm run at AH prices, next to the vendor rate.

These are always labelled "potential" and never counted in your gold, totals or Auction House profit. Without Auctionator, everything else works the same.

Good to know

Lightweight and self-contained: no required libraries, no desktop app, no web service.
Your data stays in your own SavedVariables files and never leaves your computer.
WoW: Forever is in beta and can change between builds. If something breaks after a game update, please report it.

Commands

/fg opens or closes the window
/fg settings opens the settings
/fg mini turns the mini view on or off

Reporting problems

Leave a comment with the Lua error text (turn errors on with /console scriptErrors 1) and what you were doing at the time. BugGrabber + BugSack make errors easy to copy.
