Forever Gear Score

Forever Gear Score is a lightweight GearScore addon built specifically for WoW Forever. It uses a Classic/TBC-style GearScore calculation to give you a quick and consistent way to evaluate equipped gear without adding unnecessary UI elements or interfering with the standard game interface.

Features

• Player GearScore — Mouse over another player to see their Forever GS directly in the tooltip.
• Character Sheet GearScore — Your total GS is displayed beside your character's name, for example: Gaap Nihilum [161 GS].
• Inspect GearScore — Inspect another player and their total GS appears directly beside their name.
• Item GearScore — Equippable item tooltips display their individual Forever GS value.
• Classic/TBC-style calculation — GearScore is calculated using item level, item quality and equipment-slot weighting.
• Proper slot weighting — Major armor pieces and weapons contribute appropriately, including separate weighting for two-handed weapons, one-handed weapons, jewelry, trinkets, ranged weapons and relics.
• Automatic inspection — Player equipment is inspected automatically when required to calculate their score.
• Smart caching — Recently calculated player scores are cached to reduce unnecessary inspect requests.
• Manual Inspect friendly — Background GearScore checks are designed not to interfere with the normal WoW Inspect window.
• Native WoW appearance — Uses the existing WoW interface and tooltip styling rather than introducing additional windows or clutter.
• Lightweight — No configuration menus, databases or unnecessary background processing. Install it and use it.

Forever Gear Score is designed to feel like a native part of WoW Forever: mouse over a player, inspect their gear, check an item, or open your character sheet and the relevant GearScore is simply there when you need it.
