Build your own WoW Forever knowledge base by playing. Every creature you encounter, item you find, fish you catch, and book you read can become part of a growing record of your adventures.

Designed around the spirit of exploration and community, Forever Discovery Log helps you remember what you’ve learned, and share a little of that knowledge with fellow adventurers. Your journal grows through personal discoveries, recorded encounters, and knowledge exchanged with other players.

Discover the world and remember what you find

• World & Dungeon Knowledge: Browse discovered locations, creatures, bosses, gathering sources, and their recorded loot.
• Search your discoveries: Find an item in your journal and revisit its known zones, dungeons, and sources.
• Quality filters: Narrow your results to the loot you’re interested in.
• Personal observed drop rates: See how often items have appeared in your recorded loot samples, with percentages that develop as you collect more observations.
• Item details at a glance: Browse item icons, types, and vendor values in a compact grid.

Turn discoveries into plans

• Wishlist: Save items you want to pursue and see their recorded sources and locations together.
• Show Location: Open a source’s map and view locally recorded encounter or gathering markers when available.
• Chat links: Shift-click item icons to share an item link in an open chat.

Discover together

Exchange knowledge with other addon users through short, 10-character discovery codes.

Choose World or Dungeon Knowledge and select up to two discovered locations to share from. Each code teaches one discovery, with a secondary code available as a backup. A 10-minute cooldown keeps sharing limited and meaningful.

No group connection or automatic addon messaging is required—give another player the code and let them enter it in their journal.

Keep a fishing journal

Record your catches by zone, view approximate fishing locations on an embedded map, and add fish to your Wishlist. New discoveries receive a chat notification, making it easy to see your collection grow.

Build a library of Books & Lore

Save pages as you read them and revisit stories by discovery zone. Numbered series can be read continuously across the pages you’ve collected. Read Aloud, voice selection, and Stop controls are available when supported by the game client.

Explore journals made for your class

• Mage — Grimoire: Collect undeciphered scrolls, reveal their results through deciphering, and track your personal outcome percentages.
• Hunter — Bestiary: Discover tameable beasts and browse them by family or recorded ability. Taming reveals their 3D models, observed stats, skills, and diet. Renamed pets retain their original creature name, and recorded wild encounters can be revisited on the map.
• Rogue — Underworld Journal: Keep a record of pickpocketed items and coins, and discover lockbox and junkbox contents as you open them.
• Warlock — Demonology: Record summoned demons, their models, observed stats, and abilities. Track collected grimoires and confirmed learned spells.

A journal shaped by your adventures

A lucky drop, a new fishing spot, a book tucked away in a building, or your first successful tame all add something worth remembering.
