Fireside

Your camping objects at a glance, for World of Warcraft: Forever.

Forever's Camping system gives every profession its own campsite objects: the Mining Lodestone, the Blacksmithing Sharpening Wheel, the Herbalism Incense Candle, the Skinning Camp Chair and many more. Fireside puts all of them in one small panel, so you know what you can bring to the next campfire before you get there - and lets you craft and place them from it.

Features

• One row per profession, tiers left to right: your own professions, or all of them with /fire all
• Status at a glance: gold glow when you can craft it, green when it is in your bags, red when materials are missing, grey when you have not learned it yet
• Tooltips that answer the real questions: materials as have / need, the tool it needs (Flint and Tinder for the campfire), what it does and the class buff it does not stack with
• Is it worth it for you? If you already carry the class buff an object duplicates, such as a mage's own Arcane Intellect against the Incense Candle, Fireside tells you
• Place from the panel: near a campfire the icon pulses green - walk up to the fire, click it and pick the spot. A campfire kit lights a new camp the same way
• Craft from the panel: click a gold icon and it crafts; right-click any icon to craft another, even one you already carry. If the profession window is closed, the same click opens it and crafts. Esc closes the panel
• Campfire alert: the minimap button pulses and chimes when you walk into range of a campfire, yours or anyone else's
• Countdown and read-out: "benefits in 48 s" while you rest, then the objects in your Camp Benefits with the minutes left
• Shopping list: /fire mats lists every material you are short of

Commands

• /fire - toggle the panel (or click the minimap button)
• /fire mats - the materials you are missing
• /fire all - show every profession, not just yours
• /fire minimap on|off - show or hide the minimap button
• /fire sound on|off|1-4 - turn the campfire chime on or off, or pick and preview a sound
• /fire lock, /fire resetpos - lock the panel, reset its position
• /fire log on|off - record what Fireside sees, for bug reports

Beta notes

• Built and tested on the WoW: Forever beta (1.60.1), on an English client. Other client languages should work but are untested.
• The game reports a campfire from about 100 yards away, much farther than you can place from: walk up to the fire before you click a green icon.

Type /fire log on, do what went wrong once more, then /reload and send the file WTF/Account/<your account>/SavedVariables/Fireside.lua in a comment here or in an issue on GitHub. /fire log off when you are done.
