Faction Crest World Map

Faction Crest World Map

Bring faction pride and zone atmosphere to your world map with custom Alliance and Horde borders, faction crests, and themed artwork for WoW Forever.

ZONE ARTWORK

Explore 51 supported zones and cities across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, including Zephras Isle. Each features themed artwork and an integrated zone title. Connected scenery fills the space around the maximized map, making it feel like the map is laid over one large illustration.

TWO BORDER STYLES

Ornate Crest features detailed faction trim, animated runes, and Alliance-blue or Horde-red backlighting. Animation and backlighting can be switched on or off.

Compact Crest offers simpler metal trim and a smaller faction crest, without backlighting or animated runes.

YOUR MAP, YOUR PREFERENCES

Follow your character’s faction automatically or choose Alliance or Horde artwork manually. Faction, border style, animation, and backlighting preferences are saved separately for each character.

New characters start with Ornate Crest, automatic faction selection, animation enabled, and backlighting enabled.

FAMILIAR MAP CONTROLS

Works with the native world map and quest-log layouts while preserving map navigation, quest information, pins, and normal interactions. Zone scenery appears around supported maximized maps when sufficient space is available.

GETTING STARTED

Open your map normally. Type /fcwm to open the appearance controls and choose your preferred faction, border style, and effects.

Faction Crest World Map is a standalone addon. Faction Crest Minimap is not required, but the two share a matching visual style.
