✅ Technical Updates

Updated Interface version to 16001 for World of Warcraft: Forever.

Rebuilt for the Retail engine — Forever does not run on the Classic API, so this
is a real port and not just an interface bump.

Fault-tolerant event registration: on Forever an unknown event raises an error
instead of being ignored, which would break the whole addon on load.

Combat "secret" value support: health is no longer directly readable in combat,
so the low-health alert handles it instead of erroring out.

Replaced math.atan2, which does not exist in this client's Lua — this fixes
minimap button dragging.

Options panel moved to the Settings API, as the old InterfaceOptions API is gone.

Chat listening extended to Officer, Instance Chat and Instance Leader channels.

Your BCC settings and statistics are imported automatically on first login.

Welcome window updated and adapted for Forever.

⚠️ Beta Note

A known Forever client bug can prevent SavedVariables from being read back at
startup. If your settings reset to defaults, that is the client, not the addon —
DDPoulet was written to keep working in that case.
