CB Forever — Cast Bar Forever

Make every cast your own. CB Forever replaces the standard player cast bar in WoW Forever with a customizable display for spells, channels, profession abilities, and miscellaneous casting actions.

Features

• 65 cast bar shapes: Choose from half circles, rings, straight bars, chevrons, lightning, waves, runes, and symbols.
• Live previews and randomization: Preview shapes and textures before saving, or select a different random shape every cast.
• Flexible appearance: Adjust scale, width, height, thickness, rotation, and overall opacity.
• Independent direction controls: Flip the shape horizontally or vertically, and reverse casting direction separately.
• Custom colors: Choose colors for casts and channels, use your character’s class color, or enable rainbow coloring for the half-circle shape.
• Textures and lighting: Select Blizzard UI textures and adjust luminescence and its surrounding glow width.
• Independent icons and timers: Show or hide each endpoint’s ability icon and countdown text.
• Per-ability customization: Use a searchable spellbook-style menu to assign individual shapes, colors, visibility, scale, and positions.
• Rank filtering: Show the highest learned rank by default, with an option to display all learned ranks.
• Copy and reset controls: Copy settings from another ability or restore an entry to its defaults.
• Profession customization: Give each profession your character knows its own cast bar settings.
• Miscellaneous cast settings: Customize opening, interactions, and other casting actions through the shared All other cast bars entry.
• Positioning tools: Drag and lock the bar, snap to a grid, align to the screen center, or align with supported UI frames.
• Interruption feedback: Optional shake and red warning feedback retain the interrupted cast’s shape and layout.
• Convenient configuration: Includes a draggable minimap button, compact settings window, live previews, and Apply/Close controls.
• Experimental latency tools: View network information and estimated latency or spell-queue zones on the Latency (WIP) page.

Designed for WoW Forever 1.60.1 (69977). No additional addons or libraries are required. Open settings using the minimap button, /cbf, or /cbforever.

Per-ability customization depends on the client exposing the spell identity; protected identities use a category fallback. Open profession windows to cache recipe associations. Latency tools remain marked WIP.
