🔥 Campfire Dad

Bringing terrible jokes to Azeroth, one campfire at a time.

Ever sat around a campfire in World of Warcraft and thought, "You know what this party needs? A painfully bad dad joke."

Well, you're in luck!

Campfire Dad is a lightweight, silly addon for World of Warcraft: Forever that detects when you're enjoying the warmth of a nearby campfire and gives you the opportunity to unleash a random pun or dad joke upon your fellow adventurers.

Because nothing brings a party together quite like collective groaning.

How It Works

When the Campfire Nearby buff has been active for 20 seconds (configurable), a small window appears with a glorious button:

Click it to deliver a random joke in /say, entertaining (or mildly irritating) everyone nearby.

Not feeling particularly punny? Click the X to dismiss the window. It won't bother you again until your next campfire visit.

Features

• 150 unique jokes: Including 50 jokes inspired by World of Warcraft classes, races and Forever-specific combinations.

• No repeats: Jokes are shuffled, and every joke gets its moment before the collection starts over.

• Draggable interface: A compact, movable panel that remembers its position.

• Configurable timer: Choose between 10, 20, 30 or 60 seconds.

• Optional notification sound: Know when it's time to spread some cringe.

• Joke counter: Keep track of how many terrible jokes you've inflicted upon Azeroth.

• Combat-aware: Won't interrupt you when things get heated.

• Persistent settings: Your preferences and joke history are saved between sessions.

• No dependencies: Just install and enjoy.

Commands

The default timer is 20 seconds, with notification sounds disabled.

Installation

Extract CampfireDad into your Interface/AddOns folder and enable it from the character selection screen.

No additional addons required!
