Altitude

Altitude allows you to create a chat prefix, which will be appended to each message you send in selected channels or communities. Use profiles to create multiple setups for different realms, guilds, or anything else your altoholic heart desires!

Instructions

Type /alt to open the settings page. In the general tab you can manage profiles, in the chats tab you can manage chat channel prefixes, and in the communities tab you can manage communities prefixes (don't forget to save!).

Format

Once saved, each message in the selected channels or communities will append your prefix in the following manner:

[character name]:[prefix] chat message

For example, if your character's name is Thrall (a shaman, naturally) and you're usually known as "TheScratist" by your guildies and friends, you can type your main's name as the prefix and select the guild channel.

Now, whenever you type in /g, they'll see it as "[Thrall]: [TheScratist] howdy".

UI redesign

• Altitude is now split into three tabs:
  • General - master on/off switch as well as profile saving and loading.
  • Chats - control your Chats prefix and which chat channels you'd like to use a prefix for.
  • *NEW!* Communities - control your Communities prefix and which communities you'd like to use a prefix for
