Maugor’s Protection Warrior Pack is a full WeakAura setup for Protection Warriors in Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5.

The pack is designed to give Protection Warriors a clean tanking cockpit: core rotation, AoE detection, rage dump helpers, defensive cooldown alerts, utility tracking and keybind display.

It is not meant to play the game for you, but to make tanking cleaner, faster and easier to read.

Designed for WotLK 3.3.5 / Warmane style gameplay.

ROTATION
--------------------------------------------------

The main rotation row focuses on the core Protection Warrior tanking buttons:

• Thunder Clap
• Shield Slam
• Revenge
• Shockwave
• Devastate

The pack separates normal rotation from rage dump decisions.

Single Target:
• Thunder Clap maintenance
• Shield Slam
• Revenge
• Devastate filler

AoE:
• Thunder Clap
• Shockwave
• Revenge
• Shield Slam
• Devastate filler

The pack uses Thunder Clap hits to detect when you are actually in an AoE situation. This helps the WeakAura behave differently when you are tanking multiple targets.

RAGE DUMP POP-UPS
--------------------------------------------------

Heroic Strike and Cleave are intentionally kept outside of the normal rotation row.

They work as separate pop-up helpers:

• Heroic Strike appears as the single-target rage dump.
• Cleave appears as the AoE rage dump.

This keeps the main rotation clean while still reminding you when you have enough rage to dump without wasting resources.

DEFENSIVE COOLDOWNS
--------------------------------------------------

The defensive section is designed to behave like a tank survival cockpit.

Included defensives:

• Shield Block
• Demoralizing Shout
• Last Stand
• Shield Wall

The defensive icons are always visible, but only glow when they are actually recommended.

Examples:
• Shield Block glows when you are actively tanking and it is useful.
• Demoralizing Shout glows when the attack power reduction is missing or needs refreshing.
• Last Stand glows when your HP gets low.
• Shield Wall glows as a true emergency defensive.

Defensive icons also desaturate when they are unusable or on cooldown.

UTILITY BAR

The utility section is built to keep important warrior tools visible without cluttering the main rotation.

Utility spells can include:

• Shield Bash
• Concussion Blow
• Charge
• Taunt

These are tracked separately from the rotation, so your main tanking row stays clean and focused.

AOE DETECTION
--------------------------------------------------

This pack includes a Thunder Clap based AoE detector.

When Thunder Clap hits multiple targets, the pack treats the situation as AoE for a short window. During that time, AoE priorities and Cleave behavior become active.

This means you do not need to manually toggle ST/AoE mode.

VISUAL SETUP

For the clean square icon look shown in my screenshots, I recommend using:

• Masque
• Masque: CleanUI
• Skin: CleanUI Gray

This gives the icons the clean square style that matches the layout.

I also use my own modified ElvUI profile/setup. The WeakAura works without my ElvUI setup, but if you want the same full UI look as in my screenshots, feel free to message me on Discord.

NOTES

This is not a perfect simulator and does not replace game knowledge. The goal is to make tanking cleaner and more readable by showing the right information at the right time.

The pack is built around a practical WotLK Protection Warrior playstyle:

• Keep Thunder Clap active
• Use Shield Slam and Revenge efficiently
• Use Devastate as filler
• Use Cleave / Heroic Strike as rage dumps
• Track important defensive cooldowns
• Keep utility tools visible without cluttering the rotation row

Heroic Strike and Cleave are intentionally separated from the main rotation row. They behave like smart rage dump pop-up buttons instead of being forced into the normal rotation sequence.
