SmartMount

SmartMount picks your mount for you, from one button, one macro or one slash command.

What it does

• Reads your mount collection automatically. Nothing to configure.
• Picks a random mount from your fastest tier for where you are:
  • Flyable area: your fastest flying mount.
  • Ground area: your fastest ground mount.
  • Swimming: a water mount (Sea Turtle or Riding Turtle) if you own one, otherwise it falls back to flying or ground.
• Click again while mounted to dismount.

How to use it

• Click the SmartMount icon next to the Companions and Mounts tabs on the Pets window.
• On first login it creates a macro called “SmartMount”. Open /macro and drag it to your action bar.
• Or type /smartmount or /smount.

Slash commands

• /smartmount list: shows how each of your mounts is classified.
• /smartmount set <spellID> <fly|ground|water|ignore> [speed%]: fixes a wrong classification.
• /smartmount reset: clears those fixes.
• /smartmount macro: recreates the macro.
• /smartmount button <x> <y> or /smartmount button reset: moves the button.

Notes: WotLK 3.3.5a only. Custom-server mounts may need one-time set corrections. The tooltip-based sorting assumes an English client.
